Course Overview

This Rapid Track course combines the RHCSA Rapid Track Course (RH199) and Red Hat System Administration III (RH254) into one four day training experience. 

The accelerated track expands on fundamental command line based Linux Administration in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 (RHEL) environments. The course prepares students to earn their RHCSA and RHCE certifications.

Candidates can choose to register for the course by via any of the below methods:

Upon registration completion candidates are sent an automated course registration email that includes attachments with specific information on the class and location as well as pre-course study and test preparation material approved by the course vendor. The text of the email contains a registration confirmation as well as the location, date, time and contact person of the class.

Online enrolment closes three days before course start date.

On the first day of class, candidates are provided with instructions to register with the exam provider before the exam date.

  • Routing IP traffic and setting up static routes

FAQs for RH299 Training

Who should take this training?

This course is intended for Linux System Administrators with at least three years of experience who are pursuing the RHCE certification,
Solaris System Administrators who finished Red Hat Enterprise Linux for Solaris Administrators (RH290), RHCE professionals who aim to verify their skills for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, or individuals who completed the RHCSA Rapid Track Course (RH200) should take Red Hat System Administration III (RH254).

What is the recommended experience for this training?

Candidates should have completed Red Hat System Administration I (RH124), II (Rh134), and III (RH254); and hold experience and skills required by RHCT/RHCSA certified professionals.
